Bandanas For The Brave was founded in 2013 and draws its inspiration from Ellen and Simon’s second son, Todd, who was diagnosed with a brain tumour in February 2010. All money raised is used to purchase and distribute bandanas. BFTB now works with over 27 hospitals across Northern Ireland, GB and the RoI and in the last year has distributed over 400 bandanas to babies, children and young people with a cancer diagnosis.

The charity has recently appointed two local Ambassadors, Rodd Hogg - The Irish Magician, and Sophia Mitchell - Instagram & You Tube Star and model with Models One London.

The move to premises at Inspire Business Park will allow BFTB to grow, to raise awareness of children’s cancer and to build relationships with more hospitals helping even more families across NI, GB and the RoI. THe charity is planning a series of fundraising initiatives this year including #cycleforthebrave, #walkforthebrave and #bakeforthebrave!

100% of all monies raised goes directly to the charity. All staff with BFTB are volunteers who give their time and expertise to help BFTB.

Inspire Business Centre are auctioning a signed Ulster Rugby Shirt this evening on www.twitter.com/CastlereaghHour to raise money for this amazing charity. We hope you can join us 9-10pm this evening. The blind auction will run for a full week and end at 20:59 on 31st January 2017.
